Stop with the endless music scrolling, and check out this album! I'd say it deserves at least 3, maybe 4 more fans. 'Nothing on the Water' makes for difficult musical comparisons. About the closest kinship I could dream up is having Carlo Giustini produce his reinterpretation of the classic Jan Jelinek album 'La Nouvelle Pauvreté'. For good measure, maybe fellow Aussie Mick Turner adds a bit of his off-time guitar swagger to a couple of the tracks... that should get you close. Lost Tribe Sound

Every album Timothy K. Brown produces points to something more brilliant and elusive than the last. While there is definitely a kinship shared between TKB and Jan Jelinek in his prime rhythm making days. TKB expounds upon that M.O. tenfold with enough slinky, sideways rhythms and curdled melody to choke this bottom-feeder. Xcanoe is a masterful double album of lurching, stumbling electroacoustic oddities. Lost Tribe Sound
